Maintenance and Maintenance of Structural Parts

(3) When there is abnormal sound, indicating that the prosthetic parts are damaged, the reasons should be found out in time, proper maintenance should be carried out, and repair should be carried out in the prosthetic rehabilitation center if necessary. Especially when using skeletal lower limb prosthesis, the joints and connectors should be repaired in time. It is better to go to the prosthetic rehabilitation center regularly (for example, once every three months).

Maintenance and Maintenance of Reception Cavity

(1) Keep the inner surface of the receiving chamber clean. For the suction receptive cavity, it is directly in contact with the skin. Therefore, amputees should wipe the inside of the acceptance cavity before going to bed every night. Use a towel to soak in soapy water and then dry naturally. For the acceptance chamber of electromechanical prosthesis, water and damp air should be avoided and kept dry. The contact surface between electrodes and skin is easy to adhere to dirt and rust. Attention should be paid to keeping its surface clean. Prevent the faults and short circuit easily caused by wire breakage.

(2) Attention should be paid to cracks in the receiving cavity. Fine cracks may occur on the inside of the resin acceptance chamber and sometimes the skin of the disabled limb may be injured. Cracks in the receiving chamber are easy to crack. Maintenance of silicone sleeve / gel sleeve

It is recommended to clean silicone gel / gel sleeve every day, wash with a little of non alkaline lotion, wipe the water and place it in a clean place to dry. It is not allowed to bake.

Maintenance of Decorative Coat

The front part of the knee joint in the foam decorative coat of the skeleton type thigh prosthesis is most likely to rupture. The user should pay attention to sticking and repairing in case of a small break. It can be strengthened by sticking strips on the inside so as to prolong its service life as far as possible. In addition, if you wear short-waisted socks, the socks in the lower leg are liable to be strangled by rubber bands. Therefore, even if wearing leg prosthesis, it is best to wear socks longer than the knee.

Taking the maintenance and maintenance of electric prosthesis as an example, the requirements are as follows:

(1) Prosthetics should not be overloaded in use to prevent damage to components;

(2) The operator who does not understand shall not be disturbed;

(3)Don't disassemble the machine parts at will.

(4)If it is found that there is noise or abnormal noise in the mechanical part, the parts should be inspected, repaired and replaced in detail.

(5) After one year of use, lubricating oil should be added to the transmission part and the rotating shaft.

(6) Battery voltage should not be less than 10V. If the prosthetic limb moves slowly or cannot start, it should be charged in time.

_Prevent the crossing and twisting of the connecting wires of electrical components, avoid the leakage of electricity or short circuit caused by insulation damage.

Safe use of prosthetic limbs

It is recommended that prosthetic limb users be reexamined once a year. If the prosthetic limb is faulty, it must be repaired in time and not disassembled by itself.
